Original WWII German M44 Assault Pack Field Backpack Rucksack Artillery M1944

Original WWII German M44 assault pack in good used condition. It might actually be unissued but there is enough minor staining and wear that its better to just say its used but nice. Has some small rust stains on the bottom and on the tie off string.

There is rust on the hooks. The leather is in reasonably good condition with some wear; it also looks like someone once had a sticker on the black leather, probably a price tag and it clearly took some of the black finish with it when it was removed. I did use this pack to carry a zelt and some other stuff around a militaria show and I had basically no fear in using the leather, but I do think it would be best for this to move forward as a collection piece.
