This is very rare and nice P38 soft shell WWII Holster for P38 pistol. Made in 1944 by GXY. This holster has very uncommon Brown leather, likely indicating special designation. Hard to tell at what stage in 1944 it was made, but missing Army acceptance may indicate Police or some other formation, or just never proofed at the very end. This is one of the rarest of all WWII production Soft shell holsters - being Brown. Condition is good - with some honest wear. Leather is playable, no problems.

Stitching all original and holds very well - still in white. This holster will be correct for 1944 and 1945 Mauser, CYQ and Walther P38 pistols.
