WW2 ORIGINAL GERMAN AA FLAK BIG SPIDER SIGHT RELIC of SS-NORDLAND from KURLAND

Dug out on positions of SS-Nordland, found without soldier. Great item, will look great in any WW2 collection. Found on battlefield near Preekuln, Kurland.

If only this sight could tell what it has seen. Very rare, Waffenmeister modified type, As war progressed and targets became faster moving, enlargement of the sight was required, it was done on the unit level. One of the photos shows uch device in use.

Scroll down to see better photos. On September 16th 1944 SS-Nordland was pulled back into Latvia to defend the capital, Riga. Riga fell on 12 October, and by the end of the month all Waffen-SS units had been withdrawn into what was known as the the Kurland Pocket.

From late October to December 1944, the Nordland fought fierce defensive battles in the pocket, and by early December the divisional strength was down to 9,000 men. All my items are 100% ORIGINAL!
