This a fine World War II German Kriegsmarine Line Officer's belt and buckle that remains in excellent condition. The belt is two inches wide and constructed of silver brocade.
The rear is faced with fine Navy-Blue rayon material. The length of the belt from the catch to the buckle hook is now 37 inches. The belt hook on the buckle is unmarked.
There are 8 grommeted adjustment holes at the rear on the buckle end that could let the belt out another seven inches to almost 44 inches in length. The buckle is beautifully detailed with a fine fire gilt finish and burnished highlights. The rearmost suspender eyelet is missing from the belt but could be replaced.
The bullion is undamaged, without corrosion, and with an attractive light age toning. This remains a fine-looking Kriegsmarine officer's belt in overall excellent condition.
